The below decal install guide is intended as a guide only, if you are unsure or have any doubts, we highly recommend seeking professional installation. We are able to provide a fitting service depending on your location, if you require fitting please do contact us!
Do not install in cold or damp weather as this can hamper adhesion, we recommend a fitting temperature of at least 15°C. Also keep in mind that the glue on the vinyl can take up to 24 hours hours to fully cure, so if the temperature drops overnight and/or gets damp before the decal has fully set, it may peel.
Once you’ve installed the decal, we advise against getting it wet for at least 48 hours. It’s best to allow maximum time for the sticker to adhere to the surface properly to ensure the longevity of the decal.
For rear window stickers on vehicles with rear wipers; we advise against using your wiper blades right away. Once the sticker has fully cured to the surface, it’s very unlikely that your wiper blade will remove the sticker, assuming it was properly installed following our steps below.

Step 1

Surface Prep

The first step is to prepare the surface where you will be applying your decal.

This is a vital stage and is key to proper adhesion of your sticker as the surface needs to be free of dirt, dust or grease or any residual remains. Also be sure to fully remove any waxes, polishes or glass protectors before installation. Any such products will prevent adhesion to the surface.

We strongly recommend using a microfibre cloth and isopropyl alcohol to prepare glass surfaces.

Ensure the surface has fully dried before proceeding to the next step! If you’re in a hurry, you can heat the glass with a heat gun/hairdryer or simply allow to dry in the sun for a few minutes.

Step 2

Sticker Prep

Prepare your decal sticker ready for application by firmly rubbing the decal with moderate pressure using a squeegee or credit card, pressing the transfer tape against the vinyl. This process removes any air bubbles that may have formed in transit and aids the sticker to stick to the transfer tape.

Be aware that although we prep our stickers and decals before they leave our premises, they can move during shipping.

Step 3

Application

Carefully peel off the backing paper from the decal. Only the vinyl decal and application tape should remain.

Choose your desired position and place your decal on the surface. Be aware that this is the point of no return! If your sticker has adhered to the surface, you cannot remove it and reposition. Using a credit card or squeegee, press down firmly from the center of the decal working outwards towards the edges to work out any air bubbles.

For best results, we recommend waiting 10 to 15 minutes for the decal to take adhesion before moving onto the next step.

Step 4

Peel Away

Slowly peel back the application tape leaving your decal remaining in your desired position. Be careful not to pull the application tape away from you as this can increase the chance of pulling the sticker away from the surface.

If the decal lifts away from the surface, repeat step 3. If the decal still lifts from the surface, then it is likely that the surface is contaminated with something that’s preventing adhesion (See step 1).
